External Sound Card Choices

I'm looking for an external sound card to use for recording my mixes, and also for production purposes. Looking to spend less than 200. Any recomendations?

I have 2..

(1) Crative Labs USB thing. That was the first one I got, about a year ago. Main reason was just so I could stream from my laptop. It has ok sound quality, not meant for producing, but will get the job done. Costs about $40.

(1) M-Audio Audiophile Firewire. I just got this so I could have better sound and do some production work. They also make a USB version I believe. I picked this up for just under $200. The price just went down on these as well to $200. If you are looking at this, talk to dj tranz on here, he might be able to hook you up w/ something from djmart.com or even suggest something else.

There are tons of topics about this in the production forum (I would know as I was recently looking for one too). Here are a few current ones:

Anything good enough for production will be good enough for recording your mixes.
