Paltry Arab donations/aid to Tsunami victums...

I'm ashamed by the slow and wretched aid from Arabian countries. It smacks of pure hypocricy...

Arabian governments cry out about the injustice done to them. Many Asian Muslims countries joined them in their opposition. Yet lo and behold...hundreds of thousands of people die (many of them Muslim Indonesians) and some of these morons donate a measly 1 million.

The Arab royal familes in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, etc have a combined net worth close to a TRILLION dollars, yet one country only gave a million????

I'm afraid to bring this up but I must. One must be blunt about the rampant racism within Arabian society. I'm not talking about Islam (I'm half Asian-Muslim myself)...I speak of color and ethnicity based racism among the Arabs towards Asian Muslims and people of darker-skin.

Asian Muslims and South Asians who work in these countries are often looked down upon. Many qualified employees at the engineering companies are never promoted; the advancement is given to lesser-qualified Americans or Arabs. Several of these oil-rich nations have various different "levels of citizenship".
Arabs who have immigrated to the west (especially the women) blindly chase whites. In fact there is now a term called AAP...Arab-American Princess...one of those rich little Arabian girls who comes to the US and dreams of the blond-haired dreamboat. These groups shun Asian Muslims and poor south Asian people. Tell me where is the Islamic brotherhood here?

Let us not forget Sudan...where the ARAB population has ethnically cleansed the darker African population.

The saudi government have donated $90 million, private donations from saudi citizens have so far netted $53 million with lots more events organised.

Kuwait has rescheduled its debt(at very low interest rates to start with under a special scheme to help emerging muslim countries)this dent restructure alone is estimated to be worth hundreds of millions of dollars to the affected countries.

Uae vowed $20 million dollars,Quatar $25 million dollars both countries vowed further millions of aid in foodstuff and medicine and does not include private donations.

Al Jazeera the television station is running a telethon for a week and they estimate donations in the tens of millions.

And all this information on a 2 minute google search, and i didnt check the stats for all arab countries..make up your own mind i guess

Ok, sorry Mensa, but wasn't it enough to piss all the Pro-Americans off with your last post on this subject, but now you have to piss off the other half of the people on this forum?
They will obviously donate more in the future.
