The Vinyl Production Process...

OK so I've always wondered, how exactly are vinyls made? Could someone please explain the process to me from start to finish? Also, I'd really like to see some pictures of a vinyl press if anyone has one. And wtf is acetate?

There is a video out there that goes through the whole process. It was posted on TA at one point, but I don't know where it is. Hopefully someone can remember.
