The pio mixers are simply outdated now, although they are releasing a new effects mixer in a while (theres no press release for that though, so dont ask for a link) Anyways when it does come out it will have an outragous price tag, like the efx1000 does.
Look into denon dnx1500 or Ecler Nuo5.

I wouldn't bother getting a DJM500/600 nowadays, as there are some great mixers being released that really put the DJM's to shame for less money.
The DenonX1500, Nuo 5, and Xone 92 are really the main ones to look at when you are considering DJM's. as they all have better sound quality than the DJM's. The effects on the Denon and Ecler are IMO much better than the ones on the DJM, aswell as the sampler on the X1500. With the Xone 92, you do lack an effects unit, but the filters truely make up for that in some form or another.
I wouldnt spend the money that a 500 costs, for the pure fact that where are better mixers above, for the same or less.

Well I think I got what i was looking for. The only reason I added the Pioneer mixers into by buying decision was because a lot of big name DJs still like using the DJM600 (Tiesto Included). But considering the the technology in these mixers may be a little outdated, I'll end up purchasing a A&H or Denon mixer.
Cheers.

I got the X1500 and I fookin love it, but like I say to everyone, I would recommend you go out and try them all, the X1500, Nuo5, A&Hs, and any others your lookng at, what is great for me might not be great for you, as I want a sampler but don't do much scratching, so the X1500 came in handy, but you might want not want a sampler and want to do more scratching and so the Nuo5 would be the better choice, but you can't go wrong with any of these high end bad boys, so go out there and cane them.
