How about the Vengeance Essential Club Sounds vol.1? 2500 samples by Manuel Schleis and Reuter. I'm considering to buy it! I think the one-shots will be unmatched by any sample cd out atm.

Where can I buy 'Vengeance Essential Club Sounds vol.1'? It sounds like a great tool. I've just recently got the hang of Reason but find the given samples are kinda lame or too dark sounding for what I'm trying to make.
I just got it too! The kicks are top notch, and so are the percussion samples! The bass samples can get useful, but they are hardtrance oriented, and don't suit me very well. I might have to make some hard tunes then, to get most out of this baby! lol
I wasn't too impressed with the vengeance-sound sample CD... but there might be a few fun sounds/loops.. there are MANY free one-shot percussion samples on the net (many of which can be found on these forums) so I don't see a need to buy it for that.

emm
not much of the same quality though.
cant expect everyone to like it right enough, but iv heard nothing but good feedback on it so far, except from yourself of course.
i dont regret buying it, its worth it for the kicks alone.

My judging is based on the audio-demo as well as the information on the about page for the sample CD. I'm sure a trance-specific sample CD would be much more useful than most to a trance producer. I just didn't hear anything that sounded like it was worth the price and/or that I couldn't easily reproduce myself.

I found the Nu-Skool samples website, BTW.
yea a bit more expensive that some other sample cd's
im definetly happy with it though.
i also bought this sample cd http://www.bigfishaudio.com/4DCGI/detail.html?364
not dance based, but i liked the sound demo, and read some great reviews about it, and it will suit my other styles of music.

This sample CD seems really cool. Breaks and distortion guitar make a very sexy combination... I think I would rather get reFX Slayer II instead, however. That way I could compose my own.
Those other distortion FX seem really cool too - sounds a lot like Spectrasonics Distorted Reality (an AWESOME collection of sample CDs)
