Game "Stupid Drivers"
Tell an account of the stupidist driving errors you've seen on the road. The situtaion could have invloved you, or you watching somone else have to deal with stupid drivers. Inlcude "close call" accidents too. Also tell which state, and if you want, which town the situation occured in.
I'd like to see which state has the worst/stupidest drivers. I'm banking on Massachusetts or Florida. I'll start off with a couple simple senarios.

I live in Connecticut, and every once in awhile I travel through Massachusetts. One thing I have noticed is that people in MA don't get out of the passing lane on the highway once they have finished passing. I also live near Foxwoods Resort Casino, where I find most tailgaters have MA licence plates.

While in Florida during Christmas Vacation last year, you would take your own life in your hands crossing multiple lanes of traffic. "Home of the Retired"---they can't see, hear, and thier reaction time makes a snail look speedy. Oh yea, turning signals are left on all the time, too.

Sympathies to anyone traveling the day after Chistmas on any major highway.

european drivers

i was driving down the highway towards my friends house. i was going about 72 in the right lane and this guy pulls a right turn from a perpendicular lane into my lane. i literally had to lay on the brake to keep from rear ending him down to 35mph. then i went into the left and passed him and he had headphones on and then took the exit about 150 feet from his turn. its hard to explain, but he was a big dumbfuck to say the least.

Back in the summer just before I got my licence, my dad and I were sitting a wal-mart parking lot discussing the nit-pickyness of the DMV test. The all of a sudden some moron drives into one of the 4 our-going lanes "trying" to get to wal-mart. My dad then goes "That's who the DMV is trying to keep off the road." I then relized that gettng my license wasn't going to be as hard as everyone was telling me. I was hometrained on how to drive the car, and am a better driver then those who get trained at the DMV. The DMV's sole purpose is waste your time and tell you three differnt ways to registar your car, none of which is correct.

on the jersey turnpike and the GSP u see a lot of slow drivers in the passing lane... drivers have done everything from tailing to flashing the high beams to get the attn of the driver to move out of the way, and yet they don't

that driving with headphones story, yeah that is pretty dumb/pathetic.

one day i was stopped at a light, about to make a turn onto a 12 lane road (divided into two main roads and two service roads). i'm about to make a right turn onto the interior main road when an old lady tries to cut in front of me to make a (from her side) left turn onto the service road. i had to slow down just to make sure she wouldn't crash into me, so it provided a brief scare. i THINK i have right of way in that situation. what a bish

but i hate people with SUVs and Trucks that don't use them for offroading / transporting large amounts of goods

intimidates everyone else on the road

makes people scared to drive small cars






waste of gas (did you all know that world oil production is going to peak within the next 10 years? US oil production already has... and world oil supplies will be gone within our lifetime... is anyone doing anything to stop this? or to find an alternate method for energy? hardly!!!! wtf is this world thinking!!! get with the program! bigger is not better! figure out a way to make energy with renewable resources, or kiss your personal transportation goodbye!!)


and no INVADING IRAQ WILL NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM!!! it will simply give us an excuse to continue exactly what we're doing right now, and continue abusing the world oil supplies... just making us think evyerthing's gonna be ok, but in reality, will just make us run out of oil FASTER because we stop thinking about new ways to solve the problem!
