SOUL SYSTEM [Epiphic.com]
In the beginning, Soul System was comprised of Mark Martin (FUNKenterprises) and Michael John(Epiphic). The duo was known for off the cuff performances. Mark, host of the Jazz Orgy in Oshkosh, and Michael John, deep house guru, would team up on occasion to form Soul System. The base is laid down by Michael, and Mark picks up were the producer left off by adding chords, solos, and style. Guest vocalists appear at times along with visits from other live musicians.

Moving along, Michael teamed up with Stevie Lazotte. Stevie brought a great deal of production and studio knowledge to the table. Eventually Michael and Stevie found themselves in the studio and began producing tracks. Working with Mark (Keys) and now adding Steve Cooper (Sax) to the mix as a live entity, as well as many other live musicians, Soul Systems intent is to create a raw, soulful flavor with the input of many live artists, intertwining digital and organic minds together to create Deep Soulful House Music...
