Everything was running smooth...we had a very good pre-sale , the party was about to open...
but WAIT here comes the cops at karting (yes, yes, i know karting sucks but we had no choice since their isn't any big locations anymore and it was suppose to be legal so...)
but apparently this time after 30 or more legal parties there the firemen that came with the cops deliberated for an hour and a half and finally said "no party here tonight!!!!!!!!!!!"
damn...we'll keep you guys posted on wathever turns up we are very sorry for the inconvenience.
An interveiew with BPM should pass in a couple of weeks from now on t.v so you might want to watch that for moreinfo and see for yourself that everything was done perfectcly but some bad nightmare came through...
again sorry and lets hope we can all get up and not let the city, cops, firemen win against us party kids
bitch if you want, it's your right but we couldn't do a thing even after trying to hire a firemen for the night to stay and supervise things...they just wanted the party down...

to answer your question, yes binary finary was there...i chatted with them and chris fisher for a while ..i came down with cinar and caroline and crew...the scene was mad confusing dealing with the cops who were thinking the whole thing was funny we left there to go PARTY HARD at Sona./..what a blast.

had a great first time in montreal, and have to say there is a lot of politics between 514 and psychofrogg....i talked to so many people at freaky about the situation and got all kinds of info.

So after Friday of dancing my ass of at Jai Bar (the cabby thought we said gay bar hahaha) and a late night visit to Sona we did the tour and visited the Main on Sat, afternoon for some Mtl Smoked meat mmmmmmmmmmmmm good had a nap, met up with the fuzion and the rest of the crew and proceed on the wackiest cab ride ever. after asking some party people walking down the street were the party was everything was back on track Got to the party everything looked great (system, lights, lasers, etc.) but no music? Seems like the friendly nieghbourhood fireman was being an ass. So after a looooong wait we found out the party was closed So we grabbed a cab to Sona and to our dismay our guestlist was'nt confirmed so no free entry so we made our way to Aria, we were treated extremely well and given some tix for (thanx again guys). Aria was great, wicked lighting, atmosphere, people, dj booth, etc. . I love the upstairs "theatre" but the tunes were a little tooo laid back and POPish for my tastes, when we sat down and the dj dropped some ambient jungle we just about freaked but then he switched back to the other stuff.

Funny thing about Paradise being cancelled, did the Police and Fireman actually think that Sona had a legal capacity?!? Hmmm, lets see about this, I don't know exactly how many emergency exits there are there (but from what I'm told there's a lot of unknown doors around), but 2 bathrooms for that many people !?! WTF, that totally sucked, there were several points where I wanted to go to the bathroom, and actually had to wait in about a 1/2 an hour lineup. I'm pretty sure that posed great potential health risks for a lot people.
Anyhow, I'm not even going to bother putting down 514 for letting too many people in, because if they didn't, there'd be people bitching that they weren't letting enough people in.
I think it's bullshit that the cops decided to just pick on one party, because where did they think all the now non-attending people would be heading? Obviously to add to the all ready over packed parties. Good call 5.0, dumb ass motha fuckas, that's not prevention of a harmful situation, it's just intervention to boast there moral, and try to show that they have some control over the scene. I’m pretty sure that everyone all ready knows they have little control, they may be able to shut down the occasional party, but they could never shut down the whole scene.
