So if I don't want to burn an hour long album that's in the form of one MP3 file can I use the cue in any programs to have it split the tracks based on the cue and export them to a directory, possibly even using the file names given by the cue file?

May I ask why you have albums in the form of a single mp3 file?

oh. maybe some winamp plugin? i've never heard of such a program tho. it would be nice to save time by not splitting and tagging them individually.

I've heard of the plugin but I find it easier just for ease of use for backing up and whatnot.

I like to listen before I buy, especialy with the lack of quality when it comes to a lot of productions these days. I might have made the mistake of buying ISOS 4 had I not tried before I buyed.

Don't bullshit me. If you're just "trying before buying," then why do you need to burn it to a CD? Additionally, do you really need to be able to skip around the tracks on an album if you're just giving it a "test" listen? Seems to me that you shouldn't really need more than one listen to determine whether or not you're going to buy it. Besides, isn't the element of finding out what the album has to offer part of the whole experience of buying it? Do you download movies before you go see them in the theater? Do you download e-text versions of books before you buy the actual copy? Starting to sound silly yet? And speaking of assumptions, when have you ever seen me post in threads about mp3s? Fuck off.

(And by the way, a lot of record shops (or at least any decent one that values its customers) will let you listen to CDs in the store.)

So...how long have you been monitoring my downloading activities? Must be a 'round the clock job. I'm not going to lie and say that I've never illegally downloaded music (or other things for that matter). But the truth is I don't do that anymore. I primarily download live sets, and on occasion an unreleased track. Neither of these instances is taking money away from an artist. I buy CDs on almost a weekly basis, and can say with pride that within the last two weeks I have bought thirteen albums.
