hey guys/gals. i need some help. can someone define trance music in there own words. its for a school project and i am doing trance music and i am having a hard time defining it! if you could help me that would be appericatied. thanks

you really cant explain it. its like a drug. you have to try it and appreciate it before you can begin to explain it. its a form of electronic music that combines softer beats with higher pitched sounds. this creates beautiful melody and powerful beats. not as hard as techno, house, etc. its more synths and less repetitive hard hitting bass and shit noise like techno (no offense to the techno lovers). thats all i can think of.

hehehe - I still listen to it, but a lot more Old skool and Sashaesque type stuff. I dance to Tiesto and stuff, just not my 'groovethang'.
