Argh! I can't mix this track with anything!!! Can anybody give me some suggestions of which tracks can I possibly mix with this track?

this track was played at ahead in sheffield on NYE
i sadly cant remember what track was played after it though

Just find something proggy in the same key. Look through some of the lists in the thread for harmonic mixing.

I know the airwave mix is in D#m (2A) but I think the other mixes go in a different key.

Harmonic mixing will sort out a lot of these issues.

i mixed it out with Roc Project - Never (Tiesto Remix) with some success. wasnt one of my best mixes but it got the job done. didnt need much work with the EQs - mostly the low freq

heard it mix from mojado - naranja (vision mix) that sounded good. Try that

what he said. Mix out of it with something in the same key and you should be fine.

from memory i think the g&d remix is an 8A, but i could be wrong. also remember that its a pretty slow tune (well in comparison to what i spin) so you might end up playing it at +6% which will change the key.

Yup, at +6 it would be a 3A (A#m). Unless ofcourse you use the master pitch on a CD deck.

All of G&Ds stuff is way too slow for me.

nem- whats the \"rule\" of key changes. i read in the harmonics database that a key changes at just over 3% or so, but what does it change to? reading your above post its obvious ive been doing it wrong

my question is why are you still trying to mix this track? this went on my "hot for a week, now its cheese" shelf over a year ago. i mean ya, some remixes are still ok. photon project mix for example. but the G&D mix needs to be put away.
