Party Hat [Trance] Acute - Cyan

I couldn't sleep last night so I was messing about on my new keyboard and came up with a few ideas. Then it was about 6.30am and I was nackered. So I finished it off this afternoon, pretty much when I woke up! (well at least a full length version )

Acute - Cyan (192kbps Sample)

There ya go

I am quite pleased with the lead I got. Was looking for that euphoric big lead sound.

Anyways...

Leave comments saying how good/bad or whatever it is

Cheers

mef

I think it's rather good, though not groundbreaking... Good job so far.

Cheers,
Wim

Thanks a lot guys. I think I messed up the mastering a tad and that could be the reason why the kick isnt as powerful as some people would prefer.

Glad you guys like it though

kick is spot on imo, the kinda phasey metal noise i really don't like though.

the melody is nice and energetic, doesn't do much, kinda f+w feel in parts tho. definately ditch that metallic noise thing and use a pad/string instead.

wet up the intro/outro synth aswell, it sounds very dry and on top of the mix rather than in it.

good work my man, definately has potential.

I agree with Wim, give it something extra, ... that makes it more special/original (more different from the usual trance nowadays)

I really like the beginning, great synths (well, apart from that metal one, i agree with most of the people here that it's better to change it) and it's very groovy. The break kicks in a litle too abrubt for my taste and the synth is a little too ordinary, but melody is nice. Overall a good job. -Romi
