Look..... there's no way that DARUDE---sandstorm is HARDhouse at all.. please.... just listen to the Beats if the muzik.. is kinda melodic... slow going... is definetly trance... MATT DAREY never siad it was Hardhouse... I don't know where you got that, MAtt darey does trance all the way.. he mixes trance, and this tune is at one of his TRANCE mixed CD's.. Pure EUPHORIA vol.4, where that Comp. is done in TRANCE till the end, maybe Hardhouse/hardtrance in some parts, but that's about it... DARUDE----- sandstorm is not HARDhouse because Hardhouse is HARDBEATED, fast going muzik... got it??

I agree with LiquidXTrance .. Darude - Sandstorm doesn't sound like Hardhouse to me .. The little melodie tell me it isn't I've got a remix by Terpischord which is more like a HARDhouse tune .. I'll post it soon on my site or maybe I'll post it on Swamper FTP .. Anyway Sandstorm is NOT hardhouse .. hehe .. Altough it's only my opinion

I have to disagree with LiquidXtrance. Matt Darey does NOT just do trance, he also does hardhouse, as this will prove : In the very south of England we have a very popular radio station, Power FM. On it, Matt Darey was interviewed about his new trance tune, Beautiful. Matt said that his last single, Liberation, was Hardhouse because it had a 'nuclear, fist-in-the-air' feel to it. He also stated that Sandstorm was of this genre. So, Mr. LiquidXtrance, get yer facts right before you argue, nact. I believe this is conclusive proof that Sandstorm is Hardhouse, as those words from Matt Darey proove.

the music which was released last yr at the latest is exactly the same bass patterns as other 'fluffy hands in the air' trance that was all the rage last year before trance went pop with filth like dj jurgens and atb which are nothing more than record companies jumping on the underground bandwagon and watering it down for kids. As an amateur dj who likes nothing more than banging out both trance and hardhouse i can tell you that in my esteemed opinion darude is trance that is popular in hardhouse nighteries but never the champion sound of the night. The track has been played at clubs such as trade and sundissential(uk hardhouse nites) but is surely not as hard as the majority of the stuff on tidytrax or nukleuz blue labels. as for the ridiculous claim of dareys trance being hardhouse i can only assume dobbsy that you are informed incorrectly and if you want to listen to what hardhouse is then youre going to be very shocked

I see your point, Benga. Perhaps you could say Sandstorm is 'hardhouse lite', as i know it is not full on hardhouse. Anyway, Matt Darey said it, so i'm just repeating what he said.

I know HARD HOUSE is figghting trance muzik in the UK.. stuff like that... and you peeps in the UK seem to call HARD HOUSE the new trance... now... with all that HARD house hype.. people seem to missplacing the tunes, a TRANCE tune into the HARD HOUSE genre.. and about what mr DAREY said is wierd.. isn't??And I heard RADIO 1 say that DARUDE-- sandstorm is trance, since they are friking playing it out,plus, on the reviews, it calls it trance, you are the first to say that that tune is HArd House, just look it up for the facts.. Libertation was placed in every single TRANCE muzik album last year.. wasen't it?? and HARD HOUSE is not that kinda sound at all.. Matt Darey is like my fave producer and remixer.. since he comes up with the tightest trance remixes and songs.. like BEAUTIFUL for his year.. but if you go for what the fact of the muzik is.. you wouldn't fall for what others say.. read some DANCE MUZIK dictionary.. it's confusing sometimes... some can call Lock n load-- blow ya mind Hard house.. some call it Trance or Hard trance.. anyways.. the sounds are like the same...let's just say that TRANCE MUZIK RULES!!!!
