Stanton trackmaster II?

I am considering buying a bundle online of a Vestax PDX-2000 which includes a Stanton Trackmaster II cart...I know the Vestax deck is supposed to be really good but how good is the Trackmaster? I'd love to hear peoples' opinions before buying

I heard here on TA that Stanton cartridges arent good.
I recommend you Shure Whitelabel or Ortofons.

Trackmasters are no good. I have set collecting dust right now. are you buying this stuff new? see if you can swap them out for some ortofons (any of them) or some shure m44gs. anything is a step up from trackmasters.

my 2 cents

I hate my Stanton TM2, and I've spent a good amount of time with it.

Ok then I'll probably buy the package and keep the TM2 as a spare cart...been investigating the M44G's, are those pretty solid? (Ortofons are a bit too expensive right now)

the m44gs are nice. thats what i am using right now. they sound decent and you dont have to use too much weight on them. mine never skip and i have abit less than 2 grams of force dialed in.
