hacking is not malicious at all, hacking is commonly used for people who fix up systems, etc, modify code so progs/etc run better, cracking is the malicious part of the internet, cracking webservers etc, h4ax0ring or whatever is basically annoying lil script kiddies who like to play around with words and download programs to run all the super duper clever stuff.
