soundrush - unleash (sample, 192kbps)

hey guys,

here's a demo of my new track (done with reason). it sounds a bit boring at the moment. i guess it lacks of some wicked effects, percusions and all that stuff a good track needs. anyway, i am itching to get some feedback... please gimme some feedback.... pleeeeeaaaasseeee... . thanks.

btw... thanks to fahad, who tweaked the strings and the lead that appears at 0:27.

i like the overall sound and mix, nice bending on that lead man.

yer this break feels definatly empty with just this lead, and the pad comes in abit sudden, but that sounds like stuff you'l fix np.

i think you two should collab, i can definatly hear some some very class work that could happen between both of you.

good melodys and progression as always soundrush, just fill the break, and fix transistions maybe add a few synths in the main part and your onto a winner...love the pushish perc too.

peace man.

Ah, ya, i really love the pads you sequenced.

Tbh i never knew you started with it and finished, i tried to make some of it, but couldn't get the right bass sound for it.

Yes it does lack a bit, but also you powerd up the synths so much that there isn't any room left for some nice groovy perc.

I like that fx that comes often by, but yes it needs more

main lead needs to be more aggresive, it doesn't really connect with the huge strings mate.

Thats all for now. Catch you on msn

Sounds nice and clean. A bit narrow in stero.. miss some more ambience and/or panned sounds.. And sounds like you've applied a low cut eq at 80 hz or something on the bass.. Im not really feeling any low end.. The same with the kick - not as bad, but lacks that extra punch.. Tune sounds like its mixed with a dj headset.

The break comes a bit sudden. And if you want to use the lead alone like you have now - you should play around with some more fx trickery. Perhaps (if youre using cubase), route the signal to a group channel, add a bitcrusher to that chan, then add a delay or chorus or something - then automate it to make something wierd out of it .. play around a bit to keep it interesting..

Nice job otherwise

- J.

lots of really nice sounds in this one, except for the bass which i really don't like. i like the pitch bends you've used. try to filter or fade the pads in before 1:30, they come in too quickly. i like the melody, but the lead synth i would work on a little more.

sounds good.
