Does anyone else ever get this error message too when posting or accessing tranceaddict... I get it usually a few times a day...

Yes. And I hate when it happens. I think "FUCK OFF EVERYONE!! DON'T YOU KNOW I'M TRYING TO POST SOMETHING??!!" I get very enraged. This is not how I want to learn patience.

Yep, just means the max_connections MySQL variable has been met. This is normally set by the administrator based on what kind of server hardware they have.

I'm sure TA will upgrade their servers if resource starvation becomes common place (and they have the budget to do it).

funny thing is, everytime that message comes around (been coming aorund for the passed 2 years now), u still gotta tell "them" about the probelm

I see it few times a day....gets a little irritating when u lose ur post but Its no biggie since this is not a Govt funded or a corporate endorsed website...the error merely reflects on resource/connection constraints....I'm really surprised that it OnLy happens once or twice per day and not often considering the amount of members TA has all over the world....
