Is it possible to use the computer as an input, as a 3rd turntable or cd player or whatever? whats the best option?

Get a dj program such as traktor, dssdj or virtual dj and plug the output of the comp into the mixer, done, all you got to do is get the right cable

is it not hard to queue on a computer?

cueing on a computer aint hard, ifur usin pcdj its like the same as cuein on a cd player

I've been using Traktor for a little while... don't like it too much, more or less I'd rather use any track I have on my PC after its been burned to a disc, not sure why I prefer this and not the "Laptop" DJ setup, but I guess the PCDJ thing hasn't hooked me yet...

In any event, to answer your question, yes it can be done, and if you some decent examples of someone who uses a laptop ALL the time and does (What I find to be...) a good job, seek out some Andrew K sets, such as his GDJB...

I've got my amp connected to my computer now as i am producing music aswell. I'm still to buy the gear, but I don't have any more inputs in the amp. Do you think there'll be a terrible latency if i choose to route my mixer-output through my soundcard and back out to the amp?

yeah i also use pcdj as an input, i set the cue points MANUALLY or just use the pitch bender to catch up when P.F.L THEN MIX IT WITH A DECK.
