Best well directed action-drama i've seen in a long fuckin time, Michael Mann is a genious. If U haven't seen this flick, I highly recommend...it creeps up on u, at first ur thinkin meh, just another action flick with some black guy (Jamie Foxx) doing the comedic work, while the white guy Cruise does all the buttkicking....while this is all true, the movie develops really nicely, has alot of poetic and hidden meanings behind both characters and their lives. What are ur takes on this one....anything u noticed in the flick, that maybe I didn't pick up on....I wasnt sure what the meaning behind the wolves passing in front Of the taxi cab in mid-LA meant.
PS - Cruise @ the Jazz Bar ...nuff said.
Cruise in the clubbing scene.....OWNED.

Ya this movie fucking rocks. My only gripe is that Vincent's final hit was pretty predictable, but it still works well.
Vincent was powerful as a character. the plot was as well, except the last finger sort of ruined the build-up. it was almost unnecessary, like they just put it in to extend that 'dead guy' metaphor. i'm being as vague as possible for those who haven't been exposed.

Yea, there really should be more good hit man movies out there, not enough of 'em.
But yea I actually didn't think this movie was stunningly spectacular or anything, but definitely one of the better films of the past year (that definitely wasn't many of em).

I really loved this movie. The acting was great and so was the filming in every scene. The club scene was amazing too.
And I loved how there was not useless chit chat before the kills like in all crappy action movies. This was a real good thriller. And my GF got all stressed at the end in the movie so she had to hold tight
