In my drunken haze last night I discovered a show on Spike TV called "The Club." They apparently go over the workings of clubs all over the US. Last nights episode (It looks like it re-airs tonight at 2am) covered Club Ice in Vegas and had an appearance by our buddy Armin van Buuren. Was pretty cool to watch. Internet was down last night or I would have posted this sooner.

I saw it last night too and actually had a problem with it.

They took events out of order. They first thing that happened on the show was Ferry Corsten playing on Halloween. Then suddenly it was mid-September and they were building the new DJ booth for Armin van Buuren (and Markus Schulz). This felt really retarded because when they were showing Ferry for the first chunk of the show, he was already playing in the new DJ booth and was down with the crowd.

It just felt weird, although they obviously did it for the climax at the end to talk about how the club was turned a 180 for the good since GK had taken over.

The new booth is NICE, although I think Ten15 here in SF still has the best DJ booth. Just needs something different than the huge whole in the wall behind the DJ.

the club is was a series about GK turning over ice. i believe that was the final episode too. but yeah that was really wierd to see the booth then sequentially see it bieng built. and to hell with the producers for not mentioning markus. they showed him for like .01 seconds. but i was on there for .03 seconds. so that was cool. but yeah it think the series is done.

I was kinda trying to figure out the "time-frame" as you mentioned, Dave. Last week was mid september and with this week being "the finale" I was wondering how they were going to "get to halloween" cuz they were shooting a bit while we were there w/ Ferry.

I will have to see if I can see myself for my 1 second of fame w/ Mr.S, Boomar, 'n Lucid.

Oh well, what do you expect from a "reality TV show"....you'd wouldn't think a reality time frame....noooo.

and I thought the armin show was beginnning of oct., so it was only a 3 week stretch. Plus I think they took em out of order to show the wildest show last, Ferry's was good but the crowd was more intense at armin.



plus they didn't even mentino markus...those turds.

Yeah, sorry, Armin was like OCt 2nd or something around there. Doesn't mater, things were out of order.

Haha..nice...i'll be sure to look...guess it's on in 1/2 hour.

On another note...will be in LAS for Superbowl this weekend. My buddy (his wife is a grad student at the U) is hosting me, and another guy from p-town. So, is anything going on down there this weekend? We'll probably be playing golf, and he may be getting freebies for the UFC event...but I said I'd see if any dj's were in town.

There is a local dj playing a 6 hour set at ICE on sat, faarsheed. He can throw down. He opened for ferry. Ive talked ot him a few times and he knows his stuff, so it should be interesting. Plus I finally think my free passes will work on that night


and friday is donald glaudes residency. thats always some bangin tunes.

hmmm...guess I'll have to keep it in mind. I really don't know our itinerary, though I know I'd enjoy either (I remember forsheen opening)...good stuff. It's a matter if my buddies wife would entertain the idea...damn women and their r'n'b addictions.

Am seeing the show now though...LOL @ me...my 4 clips of fame ww000t. But it's funny how they did it out of order. Would have worked fine except they made such a big deal out of the DJ booth...the moving of it and building it for AVB...yet they just showed it on the floor for Ferry....durrr...show woulda just worked fine moving the ferry bit after AVB then the "french" dinner...and outro to the finale....imo. After all...the $$$'s just got better and better after the names rolled through...but what do I know about B rated reality TV. The last 2 episodes were the only I found worthy of anything.
