Ok, here's your review. I dont know the original, but I enjoyed listening very much, great tune.

Until 1:25 there is nothing but a drum buildup, not even a bassline. I personally don't like that, it's very monotonous. The bassline at 2:00 sounds very promising. It has much raw power, maybe it's a bit noisy, but that's now problem for me. Yeah, now when it reaches full energy, the track just kicks ass. One thing, I think the snare rolls are too loud in this part (later on they fit better). The hints of melody are sweet. And I really dig those dark melodies. Well done

hehe thanks dude, like i said i finished it quite quickly, the bass really annoyed me because there is some sort of lfo action goin on and i couldnt isolate it to get rid of it.
i may redo this tune later on, spend some time on it.

i actually made this tune in fruity, first time i finished a tune on that for ages.
i have trouble with basslines in reason, unless i sample the note ranges of one i make from vst's and import them into the nn-xt.
