Rojam has some good nights i've heard, Guandii used to have a Trance night on thursdays, (not sure if it's still running, gotta ask my friend who works there), and there is DKD which is a new big club that just opened recently. supposedly it has a really kickass system and lights. run by people who actually know good music so that's a plus.
This is all in shanghai btw, I dunno about HK but they do have a good scene there.
www.everexe.com/forums used to have party stuff for shanghai and its neighbor counties, it's down atm, not sure if permanently or what though.
