Actually, they are not selling the star itself, just the imprint of it at the sky

I bought my dad a star for his birthday a few years ago - he loved it! It's not the star name you pay for so much as it is the print-out and the star-map in the frame. I thought it was a wonderful gift and I wouldn't mind doing it again for someone someday.

There's soooo many stars out there, and they need more interesting names than XF-4325215B, ya know? Poor little fellas need to feel loved, too.

And it was $50 when I did it... guess maybe it's catching on?
