Idea Why shouldn't ALL edm labels who release on vinyl, release on mp3 too?

Anyone else who thinks all labels should move forward and start releasing their tracks on those websites like beatport, audiojelly, edm digital and trackitdown? I mean, personally, i'm not using them (though i intend to in the future), but nowadays i doubt that low-profile dj's who only use cd have the chance to get all their tracks legally. The catalogue on those sites is still somwehat limited, you don't get the same variety as in vinyl stores. Doesn't mean labels should put out their entire backcatalogue - that would be nice but many people who own rare tracks would moan if they see them avaiable on an illimited way - but the recent releases are limited to the bunch of labels that moved before the others and signed deals with those sites. I'd even say it's stupid now for a label not to put their tracks avaiable digitally, they're just losing a market quote for no reason at all.

This doesn't mean they should stop releasing on vinyl, though with the advancing popularity of legal mp3, that eventually could start happening any day.

they would make far more sales via cd's and mp3's, most labels are realising this now, none more so than Armada, and Anjunabeats. The likes of Vandit/Blackhole/Tsunami and painfully slow on the uptake, but will have to make them available when they see the success other labels are having.

A good amount of Blackhole's catalog is available on Beatport. But they are still missing some key releases. I would love it if Hooj/Lost Language licensed their entire back catalog to Beatport, etc.

Some vinyl prices are just ludacris so it would make a lot more sence for DJs and EDM fans alike to be able to purchase songs in MP3 format.
