jan johnston - transparent is a rip off?

ok so I heard it for the fist time 5 mins ago, and I noticed that the flow of the lyrics is amazingly similar to bt - remember

then suprisingly enough I noticed that some of the lyrics have similarities as well e.g.

bt - remember:

I drown in you

transparent:

I drown in your eyes

I'll give it another listen and check if there are more matching lyrics, wasnt paying attention the first time until I noticed the similarity. Also note that jan johnston was the artist behind the lyrics in bt's remember...

what's wrong, artists running out of ideas?

lol perhaps just a coincidence that they sound similar, obviously if Jan has some part in Remember, she might have unwittingly used similar synths/melodies/vocals in Transparant. Hardly a clear and shut case though

Well considering its the same lyricist i shouldnt worry to much if one or two sentences have similar verses or setences. Those two lines are quiet obvious metaphores that arnt so obscure that someone wouldnt use them when trying to be expressive in a song about someone etc

I doubt she wrote the instrumental parts.
