I am having problems with my home page. it's default is msn.com but not it seems to have a mind of it's own and it's coming up about:blank and i can't get msn as my home page no more. think this might be spyware infected or something like that. could someone tell me how i remedy this problem. thank you. Also occurs when i'm on a page then it will just randomly go back to this about:blank.

yeah but all that does is scan. i need something to eradicate the problem. and a program that is free also.

adaware se or spybot search & destroy?

Yeah cheers that worked. however through that i must have deleted something. is comes up msnmsg.exe- c:windows/system/32/msob92ob.dll. i'm reinstalling messenger now think that's what it is. any ideas?

If you're still getting the error once you've re-installed MSN, take a trip to DLL-Files.

YOu probably have a browser hijacker lodged in your files. You will need to download Ad-aware to clean it. First, open IE and navigate to the page you want your default home, then use options to set it as your default. Download Ad-aware and run it. Should clear the hijacker and keep your default home page intact.

Aye cheers. i've just been looking at the dl files website. don't see the file that i need. msnmsg.exe-c:windows/system/32/msob92ob.dll. don't see it amongst those listed. Any ideas?
