? about composition
I think i'm starting to get the feel of producing something that sounds professional...
I've been putting my ideas down and i have a few "catchy" tunes, but still struggling to get that "professional" sound.
So heres my question: Does the ability to make a solid track lie completly in your skill at playing the piano/keyboard, and not in your skill at sequencing?
It seems that most good tracks sound like an "orchestra" of synths; where each one seems to have a talented individual behind the keys. Enjoyable tracks dont sound like theres one person there behind a computer.
Oh how i would love to visit a studio just to see how the "professionals" build something, one peace at a time, to see how it goes from start to finish.
Does any one agree with that?
