Of course, if you vote for more than 5, I will never know. You could vote for every one and I couldnt stop you. But in the interests of fair play, please try to limit yourself to 5 votes.
The top 16 vote getters will move on to the next round of voting. There are currently 40 nominees in this round of voting.
The order they appear in this list is dictated by the number of nominations each received in the Nomination Thread. Ties are broken by alphabetical order.

Was actually pretty tricky to decide the last 2 after the 3 i posted in the thread.. so i gave my votes for these: Aphex Twin, BT, Oliver Lieb, Orbital & Underworld.

Voted for 2 of my personal favourites, who I believe to have been consistently excellent & groundbreaking in all they have done:
Chicane
Hybrid
2 who I think have influenced the scene the most:
JM Jarre
Kraftwerk
And for pure mainstream crossover appeal:
The Prodigy
...which makes 5 . Massive Attack are one of my favourite bands ever though... just that I don't really think of their music as 'electronic'.

Hard choice as expected. Ended up with Vangelis, Oliver Lieb, FSOL, Eno and Underworld.

You must be kidding. Chicane's last album was so bad it never even saw official release! Hybrid have done some downright dull and repetitive trax/remixes so I couldn't include them either.
Way Out West (far more consistent than Chicane and Hybrid most of the time, IMO), Aphex Twin, Underworld, Orbital and Kraftwerk got my votes.
