Exclamation Rank 1 - Airwave (DJ-RYAN Remake)

Well I was bored. And this is what I made on 1 hour.. just finished school, and I where bored. It`s a remake just for funn. So I know that everything is not so good... but in a few weeks it would be done. And then this one shuld go on the dance floor for over i while.. Dreaming :P

The Saw.Leadish melodie who I made a little old-school. Is on purpose
I did just put together the JP8000 sawstring and the oldschool-lead for this time.

Well. This is a remake. but when I`m done, it would be a remix.

Well I though it was funn.

Here it is:

i liked the strings altought they might have been a little bit to loud, the arp thing you had going on kinda raped the melody, the melody lost its flow when the arp came in, the bass is pritty nice. But yeah you should look into changing the arp but it might just be a matter of taste though.

The kick might need some eq'ing. The percussion needs some work to.

Keep it up though.

YOu did a good job of emulating the rank1 lead, but I think it is a bit too loud.
Main arp is a bit grating and annoying - maybe choose a different synth. But when the big pad comes in again - its sounds excellent, so I say lose the fuckingarp - but then its sounds like the original......but so fuck. Bass is sexy - kick = nice.

yeah the main pad sounds pretty legit alright.

one thing that's different from the original is the last bass pad note... yours goes to the root note, while the original lands on the 3rd.... I like how the original does it better since it harmonizes pretty well with the bassline.

The snare roll is weird before the main part... too abrupt.. I dono.. I don't think it fits well. The main lead is cool but you should lowpass filter the thin lead in the background a little since it has too much highs and is distracting from the thick lead. The bassline is boring... kick duh duh kick duh duh... it's a good bassline but it doesn't work with every song... it sounds pretty dull on this one since this isn't a real busy song, percussion wise... so it needs more on the bassline to balance the track out. The ending is cool!

It's not a bad production. reminds me of Cor Fijneman and Tiesto back in 1999.
