Problems in FL5 piano roll and playlist

probably asked before, but I can't be arsed searching.

Whenever I go to input notes into FL5 piano roll, it is different from FL Studio - now it is really damn difficult to place the notes where you want, as there is morea adjustability.
Its the same with the playlist - its fucking ridiculous. IN FL 4 you jsut dropped the pattern into the playlist, but now you have to fucking line it up - and it is SHITE.
Is there an option to turn this off or a patch to download or something because it is doing me head in.

i cant believe the number of people that have been using fruity since at least version 4.1 that have been getting by without ever knowing what the snap tool does. i mean, how did you make swing beats? how did you make 32nds and 64th length notes?

I never noticed the snaptool in fruity 3/4. Not until, Fruity 5 pissed me off, it took me damn near an hour to figure that out.

Change the note duration, and position; it used to take more for ever to do that.
