For the simple reason that I am just beginning with Cubase SX, sorry I forgot to mention that, so I simply don't have any experience with it. Cubase SX seems great to work out complete tracks with midi and audio etc.. but I can't figger out an easy way to construct drumloops in it like with Fruityloops or Reason for example, so therefore my question, hoping that there are people here who have experience with Cubase. Exporting drumloops from Fruityloops doesn't seem that convenient, so I was wondering how people construct drumloops in Cubase SX (or Logic as it seems similar) and if they could post screenshots to show and explain.

I just Rewire in the drums from Reason and/or Rebirth. If you've got a good drum synth, i suppose you could MIDI up your drum sounds inside Cubase, but I don't think that's done much anymore, not with all the programs like FL, Reason, Rebirth, etc that do drums much better.

1/ So nobody who uses Cubase SX or a similar sequencer to construct drumloops. I thought Cubase SX was popular for dance production.
2/ Regarding Reason or Rebirth, if you rewire it in Cubase, how does that work. Do you then trigger the patterns in ReBirth or Reason's Redrum in Cubase or something? Do you have to go to "song mode" in Rebirth, etc.. and what about Reason? What's the best, most logic way to make all this work together?!

1/ So if you use ReBirth, do you have to go to song mode or can it also work in pattern mode?
2/ and in case of Reason, what do you mean with using the automation to switch patterns?! Do you mean some kind of automation in Cubase or in Reason? Could you please explain? Thanks!
