While I see your point there, the whole point of it in my sig is to encourage ppl to have a go on the contest. It's the 18th one run by the ppl here and there's a lot of people who might know the tracks but don't know about the contest as they're not regular posters in MD section.
I'm not saying that if people don't know these samples that they're clueless on music in any way but a lot of the tracks are familiar, in this case to those who knew trance in the 90s with a few newer tunes inside. There aren't many techno tunes or psychedelic or other styles that I enjoy as I only made 10 of the samples for the contest, but to try & make me change it is as you say 'really ridiculous'
I can understand your point but think it's fine as it is
anyway, lets get the rest of this great set id'd
