aye most have samples. I'd say buy what you know, but if you are like I was when I started you only knew what the popular shit was. venture out and get original tracks, and find your own style so to speak.

I won't buy tracks that I recognize. I base that on the fact that if I actually recognize it, then it means I must have heard it a thousand times. I don't want to be the 1001th dj to spin the record. I buy all my records online. Find a good site and listen to as many records as you possibly can before you buy anything.

thank you and i hope i can get into this...ive already bought a book, took alot of notes and shit now i just have to get to know what everthing is..should i keep reading or you think ill pick it up after just goin through the forum posts after a while?
