Film (Fridays)

Does anyone go to Film on Fridays? How is it? What's the crowd like?

I heard Addy live to air on 100.7 a couple of weeks ago and it was very good. I think I might want to check it out sometime.

Was that the night where he played a 20 minute mashup and the radio guy pretended that he was playing on 3 turntables?

is the style not a bit more dressy than clubs we are used to visiting?

Yes, there is a dress code but it's pretty relaxed. Men can still wear denim and runners but they have to be nice/stylish.

The crowd is older - mid-20's and up, I'd say - and it closes around 6. The music is bumpin, fun, upbeat house music. Big drug crowd, but not "sketchy" even in the later hours. I've had a blast every time I've gone to film but haven't gone in awhile because last time I was there, I was really put off by how obnoxious the men were, even though I was there with someone.

Go on a night that Sydney plays. She rocks.

What she said.

Also the Film crowd is very intimate as it's mostly regulars, makes for a wicked vibe. Last time I paid cover it was 20 bucks.

Films always been a guily pleasure of mine. Some classify it a classy comfort zone. A few great nights there!

That's one way of putting it.

The sound system is pretty good.. The venue itself is pretty small, compared to alot of clubs. However it makes up for its size in vibe.

The vibe is pretty good, but that may be because of the G.
