Need help w/ my setup - no music

Ok I just set up my DJ equipment and plugged it all in, but when I play a record I can't hear anything. Nothing is coming through the speakers or headphones. I don't know if maybe I turned something on or off when I shouldn't have or whatever. My equipment is:

Technics S-1200 M3D Turntable
Pioneer DJM-707 Mixer
Crown XLS 202 Power Amp

Anyone know what my problem may be?

Yeah I know I'm sorry, but it'd take forever to list everything. I basically have my RCA cables from the Technics connected to the mixer, the ground wire as well, and I have the input and output cables connected. I turned on the amp, Technics and mixer and fiddled with the volume controls, but I'm unsure what the problem could be.

I really can't say anything other than checking out every single connection and knob to see whether one of them might accidentally be in a wrong position or something. Hard to say anything without actually seeing the setup...

Ok the rca from the technic to the pio, make sure it is going into a PHONO line, and then make sure the switch that selects phono/line on the face of the mixer is set to PHONO as well. Make sure you dont have the turntable going into a line, and that you dont have the switch switched to a line.

As long as thats all check, put both of the channel faders up to 10 (the ones that are verticle) and make sure the crossfader is in the middle (the horizontal one)

Make sure eqs are at 0, and that your master is adjusted to 12 o clock approx. Then adjust the gains knobs (might be called trims instead) to around 12 o clock.

The rest is left up to how your amp/speakers are hooked up, and I dont really know about that amp.

I remember when my cuz got his setup and this was the first time either of us had actualy set up a dj setup and the thing the messed us up is on the bak of the mixer the line/phono switches where both on line. I didnt realise because it was the second set of line inputs (dxm06)
