Yeah, she was singing on SnL and towards the end she ripped a picture of the pope in half, can't remember if she said something though, but it was biiiiggg. Ppl were burning and crashing her records on the streets and shit. It all went downhill from there

she lost popularity in the mainstream after she was on saturday night...and she was singing a song called "War"...towards the end of the song she yelled out "Fight the real enemy" and ripped up a pic of Pope John Paul II
