OMG, and to think I almost booked a flight with them the other day....LOL! Thank goodness I procrastinated, and the flight from Buffalo went on sale again.

Flying from Buffalo > than flying from Canada.

JetsGo is horrible. Bastards delayed me 5 hours in Dorval because they only had one plane going back and forth from YYZ to YUL in December when everybody else was flying out (AC and WestJet).

I hope people bought their ticket from an agent rather than direct.

Direct sales have no insurance - agents are required to have insurance by law to ensure clients get refuntds in cases like this.

if you did purchase it on your credit card, call them up and dispute the charge, saying the airline is bankrupt.

Who pays cash for flights anyways?? Basically, if a company goes bankrupt, your money is lost. I've even seen it happen to people who ordered wedding gifts online, and they went under. Not only were they not gonna get the items they ordered for the wedding couple, no refunds. It's f'ed, I know.

nat, many people still do, like me, i dont pay using credit much. But as far as i know in US, if the company goes bankrupt, they goto a agency (outside 3rd party whatever for collections) they get their money back on credit cards refunded, the same has been done for southeast airlines.

No offense to Quebec'ers - but something is seriously wrong with a province that allows for incorporation a company by a director that has REPEATEDLY filed for MASSIVE bankruptcy (Canada 3000 is the same guy as JetsGo).

In England - people can be barred from being frounders and directors of companies. We should do the same in Canada.
