I like the minimal approach of this track, and the melody that kicks in at the 3:45 minute mark. Overall, this track is fairly decent. My only subjective recommendation for improvement is to change the sound of the kick drum. The kick drum is rather weak and needs more thump, in my opinion.

About the kick...I completely agree, problem is i only have like 4 kick samples to choose from, and i only have the demo of fruity drumsynth. In a few weeks i'll either buy some samples or the fruity drumsynth...any recommendations?

BTW thanks for the review

Hi there !

I think there isn't enought punch in it. You should use more the compression FX that can boost/blast you kick as you wish above the rest of the sounds.
The sounds are nice, I'm trying to imagine this song with a strong kick... it can be very different and rocky !
The hithats in the intro sequence aren't bad but they need to be compressed too...
A delay effect on the openhat might sound less common (but that's my taste :-)).
The rythm in general is good.

See ya
