Remix of a Smashing Pumpkins song

There was a remix not to long ago done of the smashing pumpkins song "1979" but I think the remix was called 1799 but im not sure. can someone clarify and also include who did, I have heard it before and remember it but I cant seem to find it(12" vinyl that is)

Didnt particularly like this remix. Thought it couldve benefited from the original vocals and less repetition of the vocals it did use.

Nice to see a SP remix though.

There are two recent remixes...

The New Originals - 1799:
has vocals, although what you would expect to hear in a dub. It's very electrorock I think. I think this is one of the best remixes done for a rock song in a long time.

Smashing Pumpkins - 1799 (Luke Fair remix):
dunno what the hell is going on with this remix. Maybe it's me but I see absolutely nothing from the Pumpkins song in this remix. Don't get me wrong...it's a more than decent track, just doesn't sound anything like 1979.
