well i tried to think of some invention which isnt around, but i cant, but i thought i would add it too hopfully someone can think of one, but i hate age laws, some of them make no sense at all, in england u cant smoke until u are 16, or drink until u are 18, so u are considered responsable enough to drink, but are considered responsable enough to kill urself at 16, wheres the sense? same for clubbing, cant club until 18 but can kill urself at 16? make no sense to me! and telephones, maaaaan they fuck me off, actually i want us all to have mobiles, and to the end of land lines, except for net acess, all my land phone does it wake me up from bed with shitty shit that doesnt even concern me, like a wrong number or "is ur brother in", if we all had mobiles then we could say when we wanted to be contacted and we didnt, land lines for biusness's yeah, but chuck them out da house!!!!!!!!

well, at least its good dat u have 2 be 18...here in canaduh, u have 2 be 19, 4 some damn reason? i dont see ne difference between 18 and 19...18 is da age considered an "adult" not 19, but who 2 argue

Well I reckon drug laws are even more stupid, I mean thousands of people die every year from the long term effects of smoking cigarettes or drinking too much booze and yet society seems to positively encourage it, why is it that if you want to drop a pill and go dancing, or kick back at home and smoke a bit of weed, you are some deviant criminal that deserves to go to jail?

good point, shops have alchol and cigs on front display for all to buy, but to take one pill to enjoy a night more (i dont take pills and never have, but others have more fun with them) to enjoy a night more ur off to jail, senseless!

I agree with you all... The drinking age should be the same as the smoking age... It doesn't make sense that the government (in the U.S. at least) will let you pick the leader of the country, fight in wars, and pay stiffer taxes (if you move out)... But you can't sit back and enjoy a cocktail without getting a hefty fine... its bull...

consider yourself lucky, in the US, a person cant legally smoke till age of 18, and legally drink till they are 21...fukkin ridiculous,
seems like all accross the world, the drinking age is 18, or 19 whereas here in the states it's 21....horrible
