What is right about the EDM 'scene'
I enjoy how unconcerned people are in general about personal image.
I really like the come as you are mentality in EDM parties and the general acceptance and tolerance I find when I go out. People seem to go out of their way to be welcoming, which I appreciate a lot, because I find that other kinds of places are trying to exclude people and make all sorts of judgements before allowing them to join in on the fun.
Being a supergeek cracker ass honkey, I find it hard to fit in with partying crowds who are generaly the 'cool people' who I have been largely excluded from. But in EDM I find the complete opposite, hugging strangers, dancing like an idiot and not caring, wild computerish bleeping noises, it makes me feel like I'm at home.
so what about you, what aspects of EDM and clubbing and whatnot do you appreciate?
