is there a way to lets say i do a realtime melody in reason...can i copy the melody and pasted in the matrix???? cuase trying to do anything in the matrix is a pain....

I have a question too:
How the fuck do I RECORD notes in from a midi source. I press the record button, then play, and play my midi notes, but the notes don't show up on the track

u gotta first hit record...then when you ready...hit play...the position line will move...then you play any note...

That's what I do, and the notes don't show as being recorded in the track (even tho the synth plays and such).

As for your question, I have no idea what you mean by creating a realtime melody in reason(realtime via a midi keyboard?). Usually I create a little riff in the matrix, right click it and select copy pattern to track, and work on it from there.
