First time at the government and I was impressed with the set up. Mauro picotto was awesome, really into it and spun for over three hours then went vs Mark Oliver for another hour. The crowd was kinda sketchy i guess everyone was at Republic eh. well i'm interested to hear what everyone else thought. anyone have the tracklist from Mauro Picotto's set?

It was a good night.
MUCH MUCH MUCH better then last time he was here. even tough i only stayed for a few tunes.
Mark Oliver warm up ZzzzzzzzzzzzZzzzzZZzzzzzzzzzZ. but he did play Smith and Selway - Let your Body Rock
First thing i notice was MARCO CAROLA, and (i think) GAETANO PARISIO. but no one has a fucking clue who Marco is. Then he gets on the decks (the night was getting better), and these fucking wallys are screaming "Mauro, Mauro, Mauro". pissed me off
I never really appreciated Marco until i started djing, and now i realize how brilliant he is as a dj. the third last tune was amazing!
I had only seen Maruo for the first half hour. he skipped a tune, started off decent, but i could already see that marco was the techno mastermind of the night. Mauro played his new tune Picotto and Fergie - Funkytime. The disco remix of funkytown.
The guv crowd sucked donkey dick as usual. 90 % there for the drugs and not the music. but what the hell they'll learn.
Shout out to AZ! good to run into you dude. Maybe Thursday for CC!
Vince

I went kind of at the last minute with some friends.I'm not a Picotto fan but I really liked Marco Corola's set...The Guv wasn't too rammed & so I managed to move around & ran into John Tang & hung out for a bit (as per our discussion John...let me know a good jungle nite @ System )....so yeah...the nite was ok

But your observation is only valid for Marco's set, cuz u only stayed for 5 tracks of Mauro. < Still can't believe....
Waits for a true techno fan's review for a real analysis of Picotto's set.
