Drinking on a cold?

I am recovering from a cold and I should stay home. But alas a geat party will commence later

How does drinking affect the cold? What have your experiences been?

I find that EVERY time I drink while sick, I just get worse. The alcohol brings the immune system down, and the combination of the likelihood to get little sleep makes it worse.

Nothing like a little neo citran and wiskey to help you sleep (poor man's hot toddy). But you'll feel sicker if you party and drink. Fer sher. Same thing happened to me last week. Dose an E. That always used to fix us when we were feeling a little under the weather.
