Cinar Onat - DJ Fuzion - gone

This is a sad day. I know some of the people on this thread knew Cinar.

Apparently it was a rare type of illness. I wonder if the stress of losing that job was a factor.

I don't think he ever made it out west for a DJ night here, it would have been good to meet in person.

Will be a sad weekend for many, and not just in Toronto for sure.

yeah, he never got out here, wish he did
i used to make fun of his love for cheesy tunes he'd drop once in a while in his sets hehe

Cinar had HLH, a rare type of illness, like tvmann said
http://www.histio.org/association/library/hlh-fhl.shtml
basically, its an immune system disorder, usually found in children but also occurs in adults, very difficult to treat

Here is a short video of Cinar from his NuBeatz program in mid-2003 doing a funny "intro" segment, lugging his DJ record bag.

There are 2 versions of the file (same video).

21 Mb MPEG-1 file 640x480 window:
[[ LINK REMOVED ]]

11 Mb .WMV file 320x240 window:
[[ LINK REMOVED ]]

Just click one of the above links, then click the "Free" button near the bottom of the RapidShare.de web page, wait about 35 seconds for the countdown, and then click or right-click the link that appears to download the video file. You are only allowed 10 MB of downloads per hour but they should allow you to download either file.

The files will there for at least a month but will be auto-deleted when no longer downloaded, so anyone that wants it later on just let me know and I'll upload again. Or if anyone has extra server space for hosting, feel free to grab the files and put links somewhere.
