Heya, just read about SoundForge 8, it has capablities for VST Plugin Support. I think that's cool, cuz I use SF alot.
Didn't know if any knew about it, or care about it.

VST support was available in v7.0....nothing new there.
I've been using "Waves VST" software in soundforge since v6.0, theres nothing new thats exciting in soundforge 8.0 -----> This thread is officially dead.

TBH...tonkproject
I havent got the £££ to be able to judge it for myself, but I believe that VSTi was not mentioned in this this post until you raised the subject, I really do hope that VSTi effects are availible.
But hey....who knows, unless they have have £300+ to spare? I would imagine that you have!
Thanks for the info update anyways.
PS: I have no interest in new releases unless I have the £££ to buy (As it just makes me sick with envy !!)

seems a nice update
i use it on and off, sometimes use this, sometimes use wavelab.
the CD Architect 5.2 that came with soundforge is quite a nice addition.
always good to have in the studio though
gives people a choice to use what they want.
