scary game recommendations?

Hi!

So I'm looking for some good scary/horror games to PC, I've already played RE1, 2, 3, that game you escape from a prison (I forgot the name heh), Silent Hill 2, 4 (wasn't really satisfied with that game, it got boring in the end), Doom 3 (crap).

All tips are welcome

greetings

Pasi

I know you said for the PC, but I do see you've played RE1,2, and 3 so I would highly suggest you get RE4 for the Gamecube. I cannot even begin to explain how amazing this game is, in every way, and scary too. Its a perfect 10 in my book and worth buying the GC just for this game if you don't already own one.

That sounds interesting, but it's not a first person shooter right? I think I saw something that looked liked a FPS mode in the screenshots before it got released.
Will it be released to PC?

keep em' coming

Greetings

...and that doesn't even do the game justice.

I believe that they are using a modified FPS system that maintains the historic feel of the game when moving but switches to a more normal configuration whenever you draw a weapon

RE4 is in 3rd person with the camera directly behind your character (Badass Leon)

but when you draw a weapon it shifts to an over-the-shoulder view that allows you to aim much better

I wouldn't say the camera switches. The cam is in the same position at all times. When you aim it sometimes zooms in a bit to give u a better view, but Leon is always on the left of the screen.
