I am not joking. Charelston is a very very small city of less than 25,000 people, most of whom are farmers.

Champaign is a little over a half hour drive, and I don't know what the music scene is like there anymore, but in the past there was only one or two places that played dance music at all, since most places are college bars.

Indianapolis is actually closer to Charelston than Chicago, but I don't know of anything there.
