1200MK2 tonearm rest replacement

Heya, I am having some trouble replacing the tonearm rest, if that is what its even called. The little black piece of plastic you snap the tonearm down when not in use. The piece that used to slide over the tonearm snapped off and I cannot figure out how to take out the old one to replace it. It doesnt seem to be screwed or even glued into place because I can twist it a little bit left and right. I am afraid to apply too much force. Am I doing somethin wrong? plz help me! I tried looking online and wasnt able to find anything about this. Thanks in advance...

You gotta open up your 1200, and loosen the screw.

If you need parts...... www.1200s.com

a (very) bent screwdriver, or take it apart.
Cost about £5
