The City of Buffalo is a pay toilet

I just did some work in the City of Buffalo. What a depressed area, the parks are all closed, many large buildings are vacant and boarded up and they have a subway that no one rides. The locals told me that Erie County is bankrupt, the County Execs. still have $600.00 lunches, they are going to lay off police and there is no work for anyone. A hooker chased me down the street, yelling "Take me witcha', PLEASE!! Missa'"

When did it get so bad?
At least I was paid in cash.

Dude When was it ever good?

Maybe when "Pleasure Dome" was still open.. sorry I forgot that was in Niagara Falls, NY which is also an armpit. I wonder when local people and tourists of Niagara Falls U.S. side look over to our beautiful side. They must be thinkin' to themselves, get me the F**K outta' here!!
No wonder they do not like us Canadians... It's called jealousy!

What a useless city. Their only claim to the Map is their chicken wing's and the Bills.
Do you know what the area code for Buffalo really should be?
"0-4-4" the number of subsequent trips to the Super-Bowl that they never could win thanks to Jim Kelly, The redneck QB who could never "Bring it!"

probably a good reason why they call "the arm pit of America"

Buffalo was actualy a decent place to live before like 1970's. It has to do with all the de-industrialization(closing of manufacturing factories) in those areas at the time and I guess buffalo got hit hardest

I overheard the local guys say "Can't wait to hit the casino after we get done here!" and I was thinking, why don't you save your cash, go home, play with your kids, stop paying $8.50 for an order of chicken fingers at Ralph Wilson Stadium, $100.00 for a Bills ticket (notice that they train in Rochester) and stop allowing yourselves to be fleeced. Most of the vendors at "The Ralph" are Canadians. Maybe things will pick up someday but right now...yyeeesh!

That graveyard they have there is huge!
Everything seems to be made of brick or cement, heavily weathered.

Pleasure Dome was a great place, some of my best memories of the early 90s were there.

True True me too!

But what happened to the training facility in Orchard Park!

Also I never paid $100 for any tix. I pay $100 for the whole Bud Bus Including Food, reasonable Tix and best of all unlimited beers!

Sorry, spring training..
I was working at "The Ralph" during Dolphins vs. Bills (circa 96-97)and the "scalpers" wanted 100.00 per tick. I've never purchased tix so I can't say that I really know the prices, but I'm sure a family of 4 would cost as much as a small vacation.

I think they should give the whole city "unlimited beers", maybe it would take the edge off
